We started work on a new home on Northfield’s West side. The home is on Cherry Street in an existing neighborhood. Working around established homes always creates some challenges. Noise and dirt are concerns for neighbors. We do our best to minimize disturbances.
We have started installing the sanitary sewer and water services for the new home. That involves digging into the existing street and tapping into the existing public mains. We started bright and early so we can fill in the street opening by the end of the day and restore the street to normal traffic. Our next task will be excavating for the foundation and hauling out soils off site.
