I hope all readers enjoyed a good Thanksgiving day and were able to spend it with family and friends. November has brought rather mild weather to Minnesota so it made traveling a bit easier for folks.
Ellen and I and our children enjoyed a Thanksgiving day meal at my sister’s home in Northfield so we didn’t deal
with traveling. Our children and their spouses joined us. We also had four college students from area colleges with us. It is always enjoyable to invite college students that remain in the area for a family meal. We ended up having 28 people for dinner! With the help of a little plywood in-fills we joined a couple of tables and 
made one verrrrrry long table for the event! I was in charge of cooking and carving the 26 pound turkey
