In spite of some snow and cold weather the carpenters are moving along well with our Second Street home addition and remodeling project. We managed to erect the roof trusses and get the roofing materials installed
while the weather was more temperate. Like many additions, our plan is to do the majority of the heavy construction work before we break through and connect to the existing home. This means we will get the new building shell up, windows in, insulation, etc. It is disruptive to a family to be without their kitchen so we do everything possible to keep the time to a minimum that the kitchen is out of service.
