- Overview This wonderful home presented a few challenges. The existing lot was not ideal for the shape of this house, so we moved in lots of dirt so the plan would work. The basement needed a room with 10-foot ceilings, and all three floors have 9-foot ceilings. The house features a vaulted ceiling, a wide staircase, custom cabinets, a built-in library with a rolling ladder, an oversized three-car garage, and a gas fireplace.
