We finished up the siding on the house on the river that we have been working on. The old plywood siding had decayed to the point that it was no longer serviceable. We also replaced the soffits and fascias with pre-finished metal material. The original siding had vertical grooves in it and was stained a light brown. The new siding we installed is fiber-cement lap siding painted a light gray color. We set the siding exposure at 6″ below the white trim board, and 5″ above it. The windows and doors were all wrapped with fiber-cement trim boards. New gutters completed our work.
