We have used a couple of new products on the kitchen remodeling project we are working on. The first one is a floor tile product called SnapStone. The owner’s purchased the tile and grout and we installed it for them. The 12” square tiles have a plastic backing with tabs protruding on all edges. Tiles snap together leaving the correct joint width for grout. The product went in well and looks very nice.
The second product is IKEA kitchen cabinets. We have seen many catalogs of IKEA
products but have not used them in the past. Again, the owner’s purchased the products directly and we installed them. The light maple cabinets took a fair amount of time to assemble, but once that was done the installation in the home has worked out well.
