Kenyon Sunset Home

This week we started work on some renovations for the Kenyon Sunset  Home in Kenyon. This project involves general upgrades to the facility including new windows, fire suppression system, electrical and mechanical work, painting, floor coverings, etc. It is a bit of a challenge in that the facility will continue to be occupied during our work. Because of that we have broken the project down into about 18 phases. We construct temporary fire rated separation walls around our work area, then get the work all done, then remove the walls. Before we can do our work the asbestos contractor has to remove some surfaces. The residents then return to their ‘new’ rooms and we move on down the line to the next phase. This work will take many months. The staff is excited about the improvements to the facility.
