We are quickly moving along with the first of many phases of work at the Kenyon Sunset Home renovation project. Our first task was to properly secure the work site for the first phase of work. This phase division is rather easy as the dilineation was located at a corridor end, requiring only a small temporary wall and construction entrance door. In this work it is crucial to protect the residents and staff from dust and noise as much as possible.
The ceilings have come down in the areas where we need to access new mechanical work. The fire suppression system is being installed. Most rooms have had their new windows installed as well. The new windows make the rooms much brighter. Work continues!
