Last night I attended the Minnesota Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) annual meeting and recognition dinner. It was held at the Radisson Conference Center in Plymouth. I had a fun time visiting with people involved in the construction industry from all around the state. We were also honored to have Bill Fairchild, National Chairman for ABC with is for a keynote speaker.
Minnesota ABC honored Rick Kupchella from KARE 11 news for his work reporting 
prevailing wage issues in Minnesota. He was presented with a 2008 “Public Affairs Person of the Year.” Rick prepared a two-part feature story about how difficult it is to work with Minnesota’s prevailing wage laws. It was a very good television report on this complex issue.
