The existing siding on our West Side remodeling project is a vinyl lap siding. It was replaced shortly after the 2006 hail storm so it is in good condition. But, one of the tough things in dealing with low maintenance products like this is getting a good color match. We salvaged all the existing siding we could and were able to reuse it on the east side where the new and existing siding materials lap together. We changed siding at the corner. It think we got a very good match for the product.
