We have been working hard on our new West side Northfield home. During the construction process the owners decided to change the exterior finish from smooth fiber-cement panels to Portland stucco. The stucco has been applied and finished in a bright white. With black windows, doors and trims this creates a sharp, distinct look for the house. The home has 10′ high walls so all the rooms are very spacious and light filled.
Inside we have had the maple floors installed and sanded. We will be installing the painted wood trims next. The carpenters are also installing the dark wood cabinets. The tile setter has been busy installing the ceramic tile floors in the bathrooms. This home is fully accessible and has a ‘roll in’ shower. The main bathroom also has a glass block window wall which creates a dramatic feel for the room.
