The carpenters were busy last week on our West side addition and remodeling project. The first floor and walls are in place. Most of the second floor is in place and the second floor walls are erected. They have been working on getting the roof rafters set in place. Like many of our additions, this one has hand cut roof rafters. The existing home has that type of roof and it works well to continue with that system. The addition will have a shed roof that ties into the existing roof ridge.
