What does a typical day look like for you?
I provide administrative support for Chris Kennelly and his two companies Northfield Construction Company and Bluewater Properties. I actually work out of the Bluewater Properties office. I maintain Chris’s calendar, coordinate events and assist with scheduling meetings. I provide support with other office management duties like assisting with emails, phone messages, creating spreadsheets, and preparing documents for special projects. I also get to assist with personal assistant projects which brings a different level of fun and spontaneity to the position.
What are you favorite type of projects to work on?
It’s hard to pick one, but for example last week I got to accompany Chris on assignment for Bluewater Properties. I got to be a part of a walk-through inspection and take photographs of new leasing spaces. I even got to climb a ladder up to the roof of a 40’ building and walk around. The view was spectacular! It’s very neat to see the inside workings of both companies, and I feel very privileged to be a part of both.
What is it like working with Chris Kennelly?
A dream, he is one of the best employers I have ever had the privilege to work with. He is a visionary, leads by example, is very hard working, and treats everyone with kindness. And, he throws a lot of fun and jokes into the mix!
What is something you learned while doing this job that surprised you? 
The amount of emails Chris gets!
What is the most rewarding part of the job?
Working with a great team that is lead by Chris Kennelly, it has been so fun!
What is the most challenging part of the job?
Perhaps, keeping up with all of Chris’s emails. Just kidding!
What do you like to do in your free time?
My husband Robby and I enjoy spending time with our family and friends. We enjoy spending time at my family’s cabin near Grand Rapids, MN. I love to read, listen to music-all genres & varieties, go to movies, and travel. Most recently, I just started an entrepreneurial adventure with a new skincare company and I am trying to teach myself how to play the ukulele!
