This past weekend Ellen and I were at our lake cottage. Earlier in the week I made a “Little Library” to mount at the end of our driveway. Since it was being mounted in a cabin area I made it to look a bit like a cabin. I used all salvaged materials, except for the glass on the door….donated by Polzin Glass….and the door latch.
You may have seen some of these Little Libraries on street corners or in other areas. They are a fun way to share reading materials. I figured with the summer visitors to our lake area, and some rainy days, people might like to have some free reading material. The neighbors stopped by and dropped off a few books so it seems to be working already.
