In late November, Bernie Street and I attended a seminar on the upcoming building code changes. For the first time in recent history, it sounds like there will be some uniformity between states regarding building codes. This compilation has been a lot of work for building officials, building inspectors, architects, enginneers, and all those associated with the building industry.
Northfield Construction Company works hard at keeping informed of building code changes, and trying to make sure all our employees are aware of any changes, and especially, the reason changes have been made. An example of this is in action is our inclusion of air-to-air heat exchangers in our homes. We have been including this feature in all our homes since 1984. Air-to-air exchangers are an excellent way to provide fresh air to homes.
